About Us

Matt and Megan met back in 2019 after they graduated from St. Petersburg College. They both received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with goals of becoming business owners one day. During their early to mid-twenties, Matt was a bartender at the well-known Opal Sands Resort on Clearwater Beach for 6 years. Megan worked for the Frenchy's restaurants that you all know and love for 8 years. Afterwards, Matt went on to become a sales director for technology and Megan started her career in financial accounting for restaurants. After a few years in these roles, the couple began to realize that their skillsets are on the opposite ends of the spectrum and that they make the perfect team (the couple is set to be married in February 2025!). Matt is very outgoing, loves to meet new people, and help people solve their problems. Megan is the introverted type who loves to research, plan, and organize pretty much anything from financial statements to travel itineraries. Combining their skills and passion for travel planning, they decided to launch Travel Clearwater Beach in 2024.
